A set of front covers for the theory lessons that I have generated to deliver the content of the AQA DT 9-1 GCSE. There are 4 in total and they are to be used in conjunction with the theory lessons I have uploaded here. They include space for students to record their performance and log any DIRT work that has been carried out.

This is a 20 lesson project design to introduce students to the main manufacturing techniques used in metal. Students are required to design, mark out, cut, file and polish an aluminium vane before using the lathe to turn a post for it to be mounted to. A direction arm will be screw threaded then brazed into place before drilling and welding a base in place. Job cards are used to develop students ability to read and interpret manufacturing spec drawings and begin to work with independance. PowerPoint has embedded gifs to show students main manufacturing techniques. Please check out my theory lessons that run along this project.

This is a booklet used to track students progress through the 7 practical projects of the new V Cert NCFE Engineering qualification.

Complete starter pack for delivery of the AQA NEA. Included is a launch lesson which is slightly Graphics biased but can be easily modified to your own requirements, a complete set of lesson plans and student template to guide them through the delivery. A set of starter tasks that can be used to refresh theory knowledge during the NEA and a tracker sheet to allow pupils to recieve feedback and improve their work.

This is a PowerPoint that contains 55 starter/bell tasks. It has been designed to be delivered alongside the new AQA DT GSCE. This is a 4 week project I run with my Sixth Form Design students, it develops their ability to sketch and design by utilising a range of communication techniques. This presentation requires students to have a basic understanding of sketching.
